Haven was founded to be a safe, inspiring, and uplifting resource to help EDUCATE, GATHER, and SUPPORT those that are involved in birth in any way: those who are expecting, who are postpartum, those that have or are experiencing loss or grief, as well as for birth workers.

Haven's MISSION

HAVEN'S MISSION. Haven believes in providing the highest level of EDUCATION for moms (and dads) throughout the entire birth process. We train and certify our Labor Support Specialists that are able to help provide a bridge in the gap between medical providers and birth workers. Both play a vital role and both can help to create a positive, sacred birth experience.

Haven believes in providing the best possible SUPPORT for expecting mothers and their families. We strive to provide educational resources, emotional support, and a sense of community for all. Our experienced labor support specialists are committed to helping new mothers and their families prepare for the birth process and the transition into parenthood. We are passionate about helping expectant parents make informed decisions and feel prepared for the journey ahead. We are also dedicated to supporting those that are experiencing loss or grief.

Haven believes in a strong need to GATHER to help support each other. Strength in numbers and community allows us to serve and lift each other in ways we couldn't do on our own.

How it All Started

Hey there friend! I am a wife, mother, labor support specialist, educator, speaker, and believer in all things good and happy. I am so glad to have you here! I am enthusiastic about my role as a labor support specialist and love helping women and couples through this overwhelming, sometimes scary, or even anxious time. I am confident that through education, preparation, valued experience, and unwavering continual support and positivity your pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum period can be a treasured, empowering, and strengthening time of life. I believe this is what you deserve, as well as every husband, child, sibling, and family deserves. Developing a meaningful, nonjudgmental, lasting relationship with each family I serve is something that is very important to me as it truly supports families throughout the journey. I am happy to support any kind of birth choices (natural, medicated, c-section, home birth, hospital, etc.), but most importantly... YOUR BIRTH PREFERENCES!

- 11+ years of birthwork experience

- Experience supporting in high-risk births, VBAC's, hospital births (unmedicated & medicated), home births, and birth centers

- Neonatal Resuscitation Certified

- Certified Midwife Assistant

- Received BSc in Coaching with an emphasis in Coaching Psychology from BYU-Idaho

- Experience with Hypnobabies & Hypnobirthing

- Experience with spinning babies

- Served families through loss through miscarriage

- Personal experience with medicated & unmedicated births, high-risk delivery, delivery of posterior baby, miscarriage, bedrest, and breastfeeding

- Experienced receiving care from midwives and OBGYN's

- Haven Labor Support Specialist (LSS) Certified (Founder of Haven Resource)
