While pregnant, I shopped around for a doula that I connected with and felt comfortable with being at one of the most personal experiences of my life. When I met Chrissie I knew right away that she was the type of support I wanted at my birth. Other doulas I met tried to push their ideas and beliefs on me, but Chrissie was respectful and supportive of all my wishes. All of her pregnancies have been high risk so she completely understood and helped me know what to expect with my own high risk pregnancy. My husband and I learned so much about pregnancy, labor, birth, breastfeeding, recovery, and postpartum. Having her as a resource and learning from her eases our minds and prepared us more than anything else could have.
